Your Human Design Centers, Channels and Gates

How You Connect With Others And Your Environment

Human Design Channels

The colored channels running between two Centers of Energy in your Human Design Life Chart and Mandala, create connection or definition, between those two Centers and cause both the Channel and the two Centers at either end to be colored in, or "Defined".

Your defined Channels and Centers offer a consistent way that you operate in the world and is a part of who you are.

Any Defined Channel can be colored in as either pink/red (unconscious/design), dark purple/black (conscious/personality), or as "candy cane" striped as both purple and pink.
When a Center is colored completely in white, but with one or more Gate colored in/activated by a planet on that Center, it is said to be "Undefined".
If a Center is colored completely in white, but has zero Gate colored in/activated by a planet on that Center, it is referred to as be "Open".
The reason for these different references is because the energy/behavior of the Center will change, depending on whether any given Center is "Defined", Undefined" or "Open" in your Human Design Chart.
If you are a Reflector, you will not have any defined/activated Channels in your Life Chart. All your Centers will be colored in white and are either "Undefined" or "Open". This is what makes you a Reflector!

This is the energy you Radiate from your activated Gates everywhere you are in the world, 100% of the time!

There are 64 Gates that make up the 36 Channels available to be activated by a planet in the Human Design Chart.

These are the energetic potentials we have for expressing our Soul's Divine Intentions and Purpose here within the Earth Plane.

These activations could be somewhat likened to a 64-bit operating system in a computer; but, instead of computer chips and hardware, you have a bioenergetic system based on the 64 Hexagrams and 8 trigrams of the Chinese I-Ching...
...Your bioenergetic "software" or "program" that your Soul specifically chose for you to experience and be throughout your entire lifetime.

Your Human Design Chart is your very own, unique "operating system" for you as an individual in your life!

Once you understand how the energy of your unique Human Design Chart works for you and who you are, you will be able to depend on it, day in and day out, second by second, come rain, come shine, within every moment, for making clear, wise decisions and choices in your life!

Now, instead of feeling confused, spending time in a constant state of wonderment and potentially ending up leaning on others for knowing which direction to head in your life, you'll understand and know how you do that by yourself in a personally empowered and confident way.

Human Design offers somewhat of a taste of the Hindu Chakra System

There are 9 Centers of Energy in a Human Design Chart:

The Crown Center
The Mind Center
The Throat Center
The Self/Identity Center
The Heart/Will Center
The Spleen Center
The Emotion Center
The Sacral Center
The Root Center

Each of the Centers of Energy can be associated with a Chakra from the Hindu Chakra System.

This is not an exact correlation, as there are certain elements that do not synergize, but the above graphic offers a visual picture of how these energies may somewhat interact with one another, including within the 6 Lines of any given Hexagram/Gate. 😉
