01 - What if I don't know the exact time I was born?

If someone doesn't know the exact time they were born, oftentimes, they can check around and ask family members in order to get an exact or very close approximation of the time they were born.

Also, a copy of their birth certificate can often show the exact time they were born.

Some of my clients have re-ordered a copy of their birth certificate from the State they were born in and requested that the time they were born be included on the certificate.

02 - Is an accurate time of Birth important in order for me to receive my life chart or a human design reading?

Having the accurate time a person is born can make all the difference in the world as to how the chart energy expresses.

I encourage you to hunt this information down, as there can be times where the Type or Profile could change in one minute's time, which would potentially change the energy and tone of how you make clear decisions in a dependable way in your life, as well as how you interact with your environment.

My desire is to offer clear and accurate information during the readings I offer and the information I send to you.

In order for me to be able to do that, we must have the time you were born to be as accurate as possible.

If it becomes totally impossible to obtain the accurate time you were born, you will need to pay for some consultation time in order for us to got through making up charts around the time that you have your best guess, creating potential charts.  In doing that, I can ask you questions that apply to the energies I see your chart to we can get closer to the bull's eye on the time, so to speak.

03 - My chart is different on another website or app than the one you emailed to me.  Can you tell me why and what to do about that?

If you've been enjoying using Human Design apps that provide an instantaneous chart (which I encourage you to do, because each platform comes at the information in a slightly different way, which is very good), occasionally, there are charts generated that do not match due to generalization of the time zone and whether or not Daylight Saving Time was active at the time you were born (Daylight Saving Time began being used in January of 1975😉). 

This can potentially cause confusion, and can happen more often with the rarer Profiles in the Human Design System (in particular, the 5th and 6th Line Profiles), but can occur with other Profiles, as well. 

The two Charts will have differences, sometimes in only one or two Gates and some of the Line Expressions, as well; but occasionally, it could even change a person's Life Theme, which would be even more confusing! 

I personally struggled with this as a 6/3 Profile for quite awhile (I'm actually embarrassed to say how long - lol), which wasn't very fun, to say the least, because it's not one of my studies to know how astrology charts are calculated, and is the reason I'm going over this with you here!**  

My intent is to support you in feeling Empowered, Confident and Clear as you begin consciously activating the energies of your Design by being Your Authentic Self and who you are born to Be. ♥

**There's a work-around for all this, though.  If you find yourself in the position described above, or, you're unsure of the exact time you were born, get in touch with me HERE >>> https://shellyliedtke.live/ContactMe <<< by clicking the green "Contact Me" button underneath my picture at the top of that page and let me know what's happening so I can help you with that.  It's super important to me that you receive an accurate Life Chart for your auric field so you feel supported as you move forward to activate the genetic energies present within your Design.  If it's not accurate, it will feel "off".  I personally don't enjoy feeling that way, and I don't want you to feel that way, either, as it would defeat the purpose of receiving your Human Design Life Chart in the first place!  ​

04 - MY HUMAN DESIGN MANDALA IS PRETTY AND ALL, BUT HOW DO I USE IT?

​There's really not that much focus placed on the Human Design Mandala, but I personally enjoy referring to mine and connecting with the energy of it.

At the top of your Mandala, you will find your Life Theme (may be referred to as your Incarnation Theme in the Human Design System).

Also, in referencing astrological information, the Mandala gives you a way of seeing which Gates are being activated by the transiting planets and in which astrological sign.  The planets transit through each astrological sign in a counter-clockwise direction around the Human Design Mandala Wheel (when they're in retrograde, they will appear to move backwards in the sky). 

The Moon also transits through each of the 64 Hexagrams/Gates throughout each month in a counter-clockwise direction on the Mandala Wheel.  This knowledge can be especially supportive for those with the 29-Day Review (all Reflector Types and the Mental Projector Types), so they can track when a Gate is activated in their Chart and how that can potentially affect the energy in their Life Chart during the transit of the Moon through that Gate.

It's also nice to be able to print out your Mandala on a high quality piece of paper so you can frame it and have the energy of it in your space to connect with it at the subtle energetic level if you wish to do so.

Another tidbit of information regarding the Mandala is, that if you're able to find a grid showing the polarity sequence of the hexagrams, it will actually create the yin-yang sign, which is not highlighted anywhere that I'm aware of in the Human Design community.  I noticed this pattern pop out when I was studying a book I have for reference that is no longer published.  (At some point, I will be offering Human Design eCourses and Group Coaching, and this information will be included somewhere along the line.)

05 - IS MY HUMAN DESIGN MANDALA USED IN ANY OF THE READINGS YOU OFFER?

No.

During your Reading, we may refer to it briefly so you can see where some of the Activated Gates may reflex their energy or connect with one another through the radiating light rays in the Mandala.

Notice on your Mandala that all the light rays of the Gates, whether they're colored in (Activated -- purple, pink or striped), or, colored in white (Open), radiate from the area of the Self Center (the diamond in the very center of the body graph).  This offers a picture -- both energetic and visual -- of how you radiate and shine your light in the world!

The body graph shows that you are the center of your Universe!

06 - HOW DO I RECEIVE A HUMAN DESIGN READING FROM YOU? HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

​In order to receive a Human Design Reading and/or Consultation, you'll need the most accurate time you were born, along with the date and place you were born.

Choose the Human Design Reading option that you'd like,

Click a time that is available on the calendar that will be a relaxed, quiet time for you to enjoy your Reading.

Booking the time for your Reading is included in the check-out process.

Your Reading will take place via Zoom online conferencing.

You will also receive an email confirmation containing the Zoom links as soon as you've booked and paid for your Reading (if you do not receive this confirmation, get in touch with me by clicking the green "Contact Me" button located at the top of the booking page so I can help you with that). 

Once you make your purchase, you will receive a link that takes you to the in-take form that all my students and clients fill in before receiving readings, consultations, mentoring, workshops or sessions with me.

If you've never used Zoom before, I encourage you to click the link about 5 minutes before your Reading begins, as you will need to download a small snippet of software code to your computer in order to hop on Zoom with me.  (If you've already been using Zoom, this will already have taken place for you.)

In order to fully enjoy your Reading, it's best to make sure your web camera and microphone are functioning beforehand so you have the ability to be fully engaged during your Reading and see your computer screen clearly and comfortably.

Once inside Zoom, we will be able to see and hear one another via our web cameras and computer microphones.  For best quality and viewing experience, it's suggested that you use a PC, Mac, large tablet or a laptop computer.  You may end up feeling a little hampered during your reading if you're on your cell phone, as the screen is too small to see what I'm sharing with you.😉)

Your Reading will be recorded via the Zoom platform so you can receive both video and audio recordings of your Reading to refer to at any time you wish afterwards, as it can have a great impact on your life in a very good way!

07 - HOW WILL A HUMAN DESIGN READING BENEFIT ME IN MY LIFE?

​A Human Design Reading is intended for uplifting and empowering you as you move forward in your life path.

For many people, as the energies are applied and played with in their life experiences, it can have a deeply internal, calming effect.

Some people feel that they're truly being "seen" for the first time in their life!

Others may have feelings of courage in making decisions based in their Design, as well as feeling empowered to let themselves be who they really are.

Still others may feel totally validated as to how they were feeling regarding themselves, where they're heading and how they're focused in their life path.

On occasion, there are those who feel upset regarding the information in their Life Chart.  In these cases, I encourage them to study their reading, release attachment to outcome, and just be and play with it and see what can happen for them.  It may even be helpful to "sit it on the shelf" for awhile, and then return back and refer to it at a time in the future when they feel drawn to doing so.

During a Reading, I offer ways of physically applying your Design, as well as belief system upgrades that you can refer to whenever you may be experiencing a frustrating or upsetting day, or if you're feeling down in some way.

These belief system upgrades have the potential of drawing you up into a higher state of well-being, as well as anchoring you more firmly in the energies of your Design from a super-positive outlook.

08 - AFTER I HAVE MY HUMAN DESIGN READING, WHAT DO I DO WITH THE INFORMATION YOU GAVE ME?

I encourage you to re-listen to it as often as possible and have your Reading Notes handy on your computer devices so you can pull them up at a moment's notice if necessary.

I once heard of a man that re-listened to his reading over 50 times because he knew it would take that many times of re-listening to the new information before his brain actually began to fully take in and apply the information at a deeper level.  Since the human brain works this way, it brings recognition to the reason why hearing and seeing the same advertisement over and over and over works as well as it does!  The information will go in at deeper and deeper levels of understanding the more you re-connect with the energy of who you are.

After your reading, you'll receive both a video and audio recording of the consultation in order to make it easier and more flexible for you to re-listen to it, as well as a complete digital pdf copy of your Reading Notes if you paid to receive the those.

The more you listen to your Reading in a relaxed, open way, allowing it to "run through you" like a quiet, nurturing and gentle stream of water, the greater the impact it will have in your life.

09 - WHAT KIND OF HUMAN DESIGN READINGS DO YOU OFFER?

At this time, I offer Yearly Birthday Readings and Human Design Consultations that can be focused any which way you like so it applies to what you have going on in your life right now.​

10 - I NOTICE MY INCARNATION THEME IS SHOWN AT THE TOP OF MY HUMAN DESIGN MANDALA. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME?

​​Your incarnation Theme, or, Life Theme, is the overlighting energy you experience in your lifetime.

It flavors everything you experience and explore, as well as your personal perspective that you carry and the kind of interactions you have with others in your life.

11 - I DON'T LIKE MY INCARNATION THEME -- IT SOUNDS TERRIBLE! CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT?

First of all, this it totally understandable!

I'm going to agree with you that many of the names of the Incarnation/Life Themes definitely do not sound delightful.

The names are what they are due to archetypal energies, some of which are drawn from association with the blended stories of the Conscious Sun, Conscious Earth, Unconscious Sun and Unconscious Earth Gate Activations in your Human Design Life Chart.

The titles are most definitely not to be take personally.  They're only meant for an energetic reference.

To be real, some of the Life Themes can be and feel challenging in a person's life.

This is why it's super valuable to receive a complete Human Design Reading, so you will receive a more complete picture of the expressions of your Life Chart as a whole, and options for focusing with it in a positive way.

Taking only portions of the Life Chart, and looking only at that part, could be likened to the story of the blind men who were asked to say what an elephant is, when one man was examining the elephant's trunk, another the foot, another the tail and the other one at the elephant's ear.  Each individual offered a different story about what an elephant truly is!

Your Life Chart is most helpful when brought into a cohesive whole.

When I offer readings, I focus on moving you up to the next highest level by focusing on the positive path, regardless of the Line Expressions or Life Theme, etc., and include actionable ways for you to do this via the information offered throughout your Reading.​
