I shared the following on my personal Facebook page yesterday and the response was so lovely, that I decided to add it to my blog, so here it goes:

I feel to share a comment I was guided to post in response to a post made by a friend today regarding Santa....(as always, if this helps anyone, that's awesome, if you disagree with it, then discard it)....

We decided in our family before having our children that we would inform them regarding the Spirit & Energy of Santa, that he represents a man by the name of St. Nicholas who lived and died many, many years ago, but we enjoy accessing that Spirit of Giving to one another and to others during the Christmas Season.

There was a challenge with one of our family members while growing up -- this person realized they were being lied to about Santa and that Santa wasn't the one coming down the chimney and giving them presents, even though the parents had gone to extensive lengths to create the visible appearance of this event having actually taken place.

Even now, this person struggles with the concept of -- "Well, you lied to me about Santa, what about Jesus....and the Easter Bunny....and faeries, etc., etc., etc." -- they have decided to create a space of cynicism and distaste around themselves regarding this.

I have to say, to a certain extent, I greatly disagree with these misleading statements to children -- that Santa physically brought their gifts for them and physically/personally placed them under the tree -- for it sets up an energy of mistrust and distrust, particularly in the direction of the parents, who are usually the ones encouraging the belief (due to belief structures in our society), when in actuality, this being is not before our eyes and ever-present in this physical reality that we are living in at this time.

Just a quick side note here:

(I personally believe that these beings of light, in particular faeries, dragons, etc., truly do exist, but, sadly, not so much in our physical sight and readily found in this physical plane -- I'm all for encouraging the power and imagination of the mind, for this is our greatest power in this life when used aright! Maybe, just maybe, we are not quite ready for them to BE; but, hopefully, we are getting closer and closer every day!)....and....

Throughout my experiences in working with the Quantum Field, running healing energy, etc., these beings do, in fact, exist (and many tribal cultures worldwide concur with this); for, as we have been told by many who have come before, whatever we can conceive in our minds truly exists somewhere in the Field of Existence and the Galactic Plane of All Things.

It is when we begin telling children that these beings are here in our physical space and misleading them with statements and actions that a person or

being is entering their home in physical form and leaving presents, candy, toys, money, etc., for them, when, in fact, one of their parents, a friend, grandparent or other family member worked hard in order for them to receive those items which were thoughtfully planned out and generally given from the heart.

It feels, for me at least (and from our personal results in our own home), that it is good to let children know what is going on and where things are coming from, and then be open to experiencing the Field for Play Time, momentarily suspend disbelief (similar to when we go to a movie and see Superman, Thor or Ironman flying through the air), let ourselves hop and dance and laugh for a while and surrender in to the "What If...." of the entire situation.

If we look at it all, this is how and why we've got cell phones, computers, tablets, washing machines, blenders, vacuum cleaners, cars, airplanes, etc., etc., etc.

It's all so very awe-some and delight-full!

As such, in looking back, since our children are mid-teen and young adult age now, they do not feel they missed out on any kind of Christmas Spirit or the Spirit of Santa in any way, shape or form.

In fact, quite the opposite, they feel confident within themselves about who they are.

They feel confident that their parents are giving them the greatest and highest truth they are aware of in that very moment in their life, which has built a strong foundation of trust and totally open communication in our relationships as a family; as we have let them know that is the information we are aware of in that moment and that if anything changes or we find out differently, we will let them know and asking them to return the favor so all are educated and brought up to a higher level of awareness.

They are more able to discern when someone is telling them a fib.

They feel confident in expressing displeasure regarding any thing....and, that they will be listened to and heard by their parents.

I've decided I truly like the results of just being up front with our children and honoring their pure, living intelligence, even from conception and before, as well as throughout their entire lives on this Earth thus far.

It gives me greater confidence and trust in their own unique abilities to choose wisely and discern who and what to trust and who and what not to trust.

My hope is that they will do much better in this area than I was able to do at their age, and possibly even now in my own personal stage of the game of life.

In my observations and interactions with them, I feel that they are, and I am grateful for this.

My encouragement here is to step out and be totally and completely frank with our children as to what the heck is really going on!

Let the imaginative juices flow, but be open and frank with them, i.e.,

~✿~ "What If........?"

~✿~ "Wouldn't that be fun if........?"

The results will be beyond miraculous!
